The Battery Bunker is a "must have" item for minimizing the risk of fire when charging LiPo batteries. The Battery Bunker is hand made on a potter's wheel out of high temp. stoneware clay. Fired to 2500 degrees fahrenheit pyrometric cone 11+. It is extremely strong and capable of withstanding temperatures well over 2000 degrees. The Battery Bunker is designed to reduce the risk of catastrophic fire caused by a Li-Po battery fire. The loose fitting lid locks on to contain the fire and allows the smoke and flame to vent around the lid and wire slot. The lid is designed to take the initial jolt that occurs. Note the flame from around the lid. Careful consideration should be used in the placement of the Battery Bunker during use. Nothing flammable should be in contact or in close proximity to the Battery Bunker during use. The 5" battery bunker is pictured here with it's 7" brother.

Keep your valuable Poly-Quest "Twenty" Lithium Polymer packs in balance for better performance and longer service life. Unit comes with adapters for 2, 3, and 4 cell Poly-Quest "Twenty" packs and can be used with 5 cell packs without an adapter. Smart Balancer and Guard does double duty: it can balance the voltage within a pack and it can guard against an over voltage condition during charging. Plug in your 2-5 cell Poly-Quest "Twenty" battery and the microprocessor-controlled unit will balance all of the cells in the pack automatically. 5 red LED’s show which cells are being balanced. When all of the red LED’s are out and the green Err/Check LED is lit, the battery is in balance. The guard function of the unit protects against overcharging your LiPoly packs while simultaneously balancing them. Charge your packs at up to 3 amps through the Balancer/Guard for extra safety. The unit will disconnect the battery from the charger if it detects an overcharge condition on any cell or if the input voltage exceeds 22V.

Keep your new Thunder Power "Pro Lite" lithium batteries balanced for long service life with the Thunder Power TPB205 cell balancer. Auto detects the cell count from 2-5 cells. Plug your battery into the cell balancer to check the condition of your battery. Status is indicated by LED's, if an imbalance occurs the LED's flash. Battery can be returned to a balanced state by recharging at a reduced charge rate while monitoring with the cell balancer. Batteries can be charged with any Lithium battery charger. Monitoring your batteries while charging is safer too, the balancer monitors each cell in your pack and gives an audible warning if any cell exceeds 4.3V, charging must be halted immediately! Cell balancer indicates charge completion with an audible tone.
